Craft Room Challenge this time, and my chosen theme is something I adore and am most comfortable with, Vintage Stamping, but just for this challenge there is to be no cute involved. You can make any kind of project you like but are only to use vintage theme rubber stamps.
Our very kind sponsor is Tando Creative, who produced some of the best chipboard products (in my opinion) on the market, so a very big thank you to them.
For my sample I have altered an embroidery hoop. I started by giving the hoop a thin coat of Gesso, just enough so that the original colour could still be seen. Prima DP was cut to just slightly bigger than the hoop and again Gesso was dry brushed over this. The very beautiful Ophelia stamp from the Stampsmith was stamped onto TAP, coloured with water colour pencils and transferred onto calico. She was carefully cut out and the edges ever so slightly frayed so she would blend into the background. Glass glitter was randomly scattered, and a lace strip and decorative button added. Finally three pink paper roses were dry brushed with Gesso (there's a bit of a theme going on here with the Gesso lol), and glitter added. The Lost Coast butterfly was stamped onto DP, dry brushed again with Gesso, a bit of glitter added and placed onto the flowers.
I haven't entered many challenges lately, but I would love to share this sample with;
