I am still having a bit of a love affair with my new sewing machine and decided to make a little make-up bag from some fabric that used to be a curtain,
it's such nice fabric and far too nice to throw away. The beautiful image is from the Stampsmith, and I am totally in love with Ophelia, the image is just so lovely. I stamped her onto to TAP, then transferred onto some calico which had bond and web attached to it. It made it much easier to cut out using a Spellbinders die as it stiffened the fabric slightly. I used a zig zag stitch around the oval to finish it off and stop it fraying, and Stickles glitter on her headdress. The bag is lined with a nice heather coloured linen fabric, and I am really pleased with the result, hope you like it.

It is a very beautiful little bag, and i love how you used your stamp on! I like very much recycling old fabrics onto new things (bag, patchwork.;)
